Tire-derived fuel (TDF) is produced from shredded scrap tires and can be co-fired with coal, wood, or chemical wastes in concrete kilns, power plants, and paper mills.

According to an EPA test program, emissions from TDF are comparable to conventional fossil fuels, except for zinc emissions, provided combustion occurs in a well-designed, well-operated, and well-maintained device.

Seiho Engineering, as a leading Japanese manufacturer, offers cost-efficient scrap tire shredders with low power consumption and minimal consumable costs. Our shredders process approximately 4,000 tons of scrap tires per month into chips smaller than 50 mm, suitable for use as biomass fuel.
